SONG SUBMISSION SERVICE

A.C.S. has established contact with several music publishers and will act as a go-between so students and alumni may submit their original music for use in T.V., film, video games, commercials and other new media.

BAND BOOKING SERVICE

A.C.S. has also developed relationships with booking agencies so our students have the opportunity to perform live onstage in many of L.A.’s clubs, theaters and performance venues.

CAREER PREPARATION SEMINARS

A variety of career-related workshops and seminars are offered by the A.C.S. department throughout the year. Students and alumni are encouraged to participate in as many programs as possible to enhance their career development process.

AUDITION WORKSHOPS

Audition workshops are held weekly and cover the fundamental techniques necessary for our students gain the competitive edge necessary to land the gig! Typically, students will need to prepare material for a ‘mock audition’, which will be critiqued by the instructor.

CAREER COUNSELING

Career counseling gives students an opportunity to meet one on one with industry professionals that are actually making a living working in the Music Industry. This unique opportunity gives valuable insight and advice for individual career preparation.

INTERNSHIPS

The A.C.S. Internship Program allows M.I. students to gain first-hand experience within the music industry by interning for a music-related company. Positions vary according to availability but typically include music publishing, management, record labels, promotions and marketing as well as publishing and licensing.

INDUSTRY FAIRS

A.C.S. coordinates several career fairs each year to bring together students and employers within the music industry. M.I. job fairs gives you the chance to meet face to face with prospective employers, participate in on-campus interviews and auditions as well as attend informative industry related workshops and seminars.

RESUME SERVICE

The staff of the A.C.S. is available to assist students and alumni in the development of resumes, interview skills, cover letters and promotional material.

DEMO PRODUCTION SERVICE

A.C.S. can help currently enrolled students with duplication of their original music and artwork for free! Just bring in a Master C.D. and artwork you would like to be printed on the C.D., and come design and duplicate your professional demo here!

COLOR PRINTING

A.C.S has a color printer available for student use. Print flyers for your next event or materials for Promo Kits all for free!
